When August 15 comes every year, memorial events are held in various places in Japan. There are a few things I'm worried about here. One is whether it is an event of the end of the war or an event of complete defeat. The second is that causal relationships between the atomic bombs and August 15th in particular have not been given much consideration. The third point was that the Allied side's strategy was that the European front was the main in World War II, and if Germany surrendered, Japan would also surrender, but the problem was how to look at the three months from Germany's surrender to August 15. The fourth point is that in Japan, there are so many stories about annihilation and air raids that it may make you think that the Pacific War started in 1944. With this, there is no way that the awareness of the perpetrator can be fostered. On the other hand, it may be time for Germany to think more about the deaths of about 3 million people after the unconditional surrender. These points will be published in some form in the future. First of all, please see "Verona, Nuerumberg,Tokyo" in the 10th episode of "The Secret History of the Tripartite Alliance" of our institute.
