これまで、表紙の写真を題材に第二次世界大戦クイズを６問出させていただきましたが、まだ全問正解者はいません。これからの数十年、第二次世界大戦１００年に向けて関心が益々高まることが予想されます。今後の未来を予想する上でもこの第二次世界大戦のことは随所で取り扱われ、益々『忘れ得ぬ戦争』となっていくでしょう。全問正解者がいないので、少しヒント。第一問、写真の中で1番先に死んだのは誰か？意外にも、独ソ不可侵条約にも登場する若者が194２年に戦死します。第二問、ヒトラー以外の自殺者は？日本人で、降伏を知ってスイスで自殺します。第三問、リッベントロップ外相の小学校時代の教師となるとその夫も高齢者。第四問、総統官邸を訪問していない日本の将軍は？4択なので容易だったか？第五問、1944年7月20日のヒトラー暗殺未遂事件での死亡者。この人の後継者がドイツ陸軍１の酒飲みのブルクドルフ将軍。禁酒禁煙の菜食主義者がこの人を選ぶとは！第六問、ベルリンと東京の経度の差を問うだけでした。ベルリンはGMT+1なのと、日本は明石標準時を採用し東経135度であることを知っていることが前提でした。
